This report dated September 2004 presents the findings of a national survey of employers using services offered by Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) and a qualitative study of key stakeholders of the CoVE programme. The report, which was commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), begins with an overview of the CoVE programme and an outline of the aims and methodology of the research. It then goes on to show the findings of the survey and study before discussing conclusions about the success so far of the CoVE programme and recommendations for future research into the impact of the programme on employers and key stakeholders.
